As an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota tribe and the Itéšiča band (the Bad Face Band). I’ve always had a deep connection to my culture. This is why working at a Trading Company appealed to me. However, after 6 years of working in the industry, I noticed something… none of the trading posts were owned by Native Americans. 

This is why I started the Itéšiča Trading Post. I wanted to give my perspective as a Native American and as someone who is passionate about Native art, crafts, and culture. An ethical and sustainable company with unique insights that come from my lived experience. A place to not only share our rich culture, but empower our communities.
